Who Is This Course For?

Our English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is designed for students who want to pursue an academic career by studying at a British university.  Our EAP course provides students with the academic skills and knowledge to progress to higher education in the U.K.

(For participants of Bildungsurlaub, the optional cultural and historical lessons offered in the afternoon are obligatory to come to the required 30 weekly lessons.)

Aims of the Course

• To help students improve their academic writing skills for studying at a British university.
• To help students improve their academic reading skills related to academic texts.
• To help students improve their critical thinking skills, especially those related to academic contexts.
• To help students improve their awareness of academic vocabulary and register.
• To help students improve their ability to deal with the linguistic challenges of academic research.
